Lincolnshire PTC is an approved City & Guilds NPTC Centre with over 30 years’ experience in delivering City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 and 3 Awards/Certificates of Competence assessments to those involved in the land based, utility, amenity horticulture and forestry sectors.
What are Level 2 Awards/Certificates of Competence
Level 2 and Level 3 Awards, more commonly referred to as Certificates of Competence, are bite sized qualifications which are practically assessed by fully qualified and approved City & Guilds NPTC assessors. Industry experience or a short training course can prepare a candidate for assessment. Candidates who achieve the required level of competence in their assessment will be awarded the industry recognised certificate. Some qualifications are legislative e.g. Pesticides, Sheep Dip, Transport of Livestock and Safe Use of Aluminium Phosphide in Vertebrate Pest Control.
Assessments can be conducted on your site, or an alternative site which meets the assessment requirements.
